Lady Antonia Margaret Caroline Fraser, CH, DBE, FRSL ( née Pakenham; born 27 August 1932) is a British author of history, novels, biographies and detective fiction. She is the widow of the 2005 Nobel Laureate in Literature, Harold Pinter (1930–2008), and prior to his death was also known as Lady Antonia Pinter.
Se educó en la St. Mary´s School de Ascot y en Lady Margaret Hall de Oxford. Fundó su propia editora y comenzó a publicar en 1969. Ha sido presidenta del PEN Club de Inglaterra. Es autora de biografías sobre personajes históricos y de novelas de carácter detectivesco.
Antonia Fraser is the author of many widely acclaimed historical works, including the biographies Mary, Queen of Scots (a 40th anniversary edition was published in May 2009), Cromwell: Our Chief of Men, King Charles II and The Gunpowder Plot (CWA Non-Fiction Gold Dagger; St Louis Literary Award).
