At first the label recorded him as a sideman on LPs by saxophonist Teddy Edwards (Together Again, Good Gravy), trumpeter Howard McGhee (Maggie’s Back in Town) and vocalist Helyne Stewart (Love Moods). In all, the pianist led or appeared on a total of 9 albums for the label between 1961 and 1969. A tenth (Back Home) was recorded in 1976.
