Joseph Nicholas Spampinato (born August 16, 1948) is a multi-instrumentalist and was a founding member and bass player of NRBQ. He was also one of the band's lead singers and chief songwriters.
10 de ene. de 2018 · In 1991, Eric hosted 24 Nights at the Royal Albert Hall, a series of shows where he played six nights of blues, six nights of hits, six nights with an extended band, and six nights with an orchestra. Impressed with Joey’s musicianship, Eric had Joey play bass on the six nights of blues.
The blues band was reshuffled, with Joey Spampinato replacing Richard Cousins on bass, and adding Jimmie Vaughan as a regular guitarist, Leavell on keyboards, and Jerry Portnoy on harmonica; Guy and Cray were joined by an additional guest performer, Albert Collins.
