I am Danny Weis, the co founder of the original 60’s rock group Iron Butterfly. I also co wrote the 60’s instrumental hit Apricot Brandy by Rhinoceros. In addition, I have received Gold and Platinum American albums for my work with Bette Midler in the movie The Rose.
Speaking of the guitar tones and effects, Danny Weis was quite a capable and talented performer throughout this album, and could have have been a much bigger name in the business if he could've stuck it out with Iron Butterfly rather than joining the ill-fated Rhinoceros.
