Widely known as `Lady C.’, Phyllis Cilento was 5 ft 7 ins (170 cm) tall, with smooth, olive skin, brown eyes and a direct gaze. She had a strong presence, an outgoing, warm and friendly personality, an immense enthusiasm for life, her work and her family, and a lively sense of humour.
Cilento was author of twenty-four books and monographs, including her first book, Square Meals for the Family (1933), The Cilento Way (1984), and her autobiography, Lady Cilento M.B. B.S.: My Life (1987). See Phyllis Cilento on Scatterplot Matrix. References

Sir Raphael Cilento and his wife, Lady Phyllis Cilento, had busy lives. He was an expert in tropical medicine who had been tasked with the eradication of malaria and leprosy in Queensland.
Lady Cilento retired from clinical practice in 1964 but continued to write and advise on nutrition. She became interested in chelation therapy in the treatment of heart disease and adopted it herself. She died in Brisbane aged 93 on 26 July 1987. Helen Gregory. Phyllis Cilento My Life 1987.
