27 de jul. de 2006 · Kasarova's full dark mahogany voice compliments Gruberova's light coloratura voice and vice versa. Even though these two sing very differently on the operatic stage, they are in perfect sync singing short lieder-duets. The disc is jam packed with 22 of them. Mostly lively fun duets with a few more subdue ones by Schumann.
