David Conway (born 1963) is an Irish author and former musician. He was the original vocalist of the alternative rock band My Bloody Valentine, which he formed in 1983 with guitarist Kevin Shields and drummer Colm Ó Cíosóig.
David Conway is a professor of philosophy at Middlesex University and the author of The Rediscovery of Wisdom, a book that argues for the classical conception of philosophy as seeking theoretical wisdom. The book traces the decline and fall of this conception and defends its rehabilitation against scepticism and secularism.
