Cheryl Carlisa Barrymore (née Cocklin, 22 March 1950 – 1 April 2005) was an English dancer and talent manager. From 1976 to 1997, she was married to television presenter Michael Barrymore.
Cheryl Barrymore, who helped her former husband become a TV star, passed away in 2005 at 56. She had lung cancer and refused treatment, and was estranged from Michael Barrymore since their divorce in 1997.
Barrymore met Cheryl Cocklin in 1974 while she was a dancer in a West End theatre show. They married in 1976. Cocklin became his manager and was the mastermind behind Barrymore's rise to fame.
