Kevin Michael Wilkinson (11 June 1958 – 17 July 1999) was an English drummer, who was based in Baydon, Wiltshire, England.
Kevin Wilkinson was a highly regarded rock drummer who played with many bands, including China Crisis, Squeeze, Marillion and the Waterboys. He died by suicide in 1999, after organising a charity concert for Kosovo.
On 17 July 1999, drummer Kevin Wilkinson died by suicide, hanging himself at the age of 41. Wilkinson had played with a wide variety of other artists including the Waterboys , Fish , the Proclaimers , Squeeze and with Howard Jones .

Drummer Kevin Wilkinson (no relation to bassist Keith), formerly of The Waterboys and China Crisis, was also added around this time, replacing Newmark. He lasted through the 1995 album Ridiculous , which was recorded by the quartet of Difford, Tilbrook, Wilkinson and Wilkinson.
