On the Road to Freedom is an album by English rock musician Alvin Lee and American gospel singer Mylon LeFevre. Released in November 1973, it was the first solo project by Lee, who had achieved international success through his leadership of the blues rock band Ten Years After.
Nicola James Capaldi (2 August 1944 – 28 January 2005) [1] was an English singer-songwriter and drummer. His musical career spanned more than four decades. He co-founded the progressive rock band Traffic in 1967 with Steve Winwood with whom he co-wrote the majority of the band's material.
A small audience seemed hardly to appreciate the supreme rarity value value of a gig which brought together Steve Winwood, Jim Capaldi, Mike Patto, Boz Burrell, Ian Wallace, Tim Hinkley to back up “new discoveries” Alvin Lee and Mylon Lefevre.
