In 2000, singer Eban Brown (formerly of The Delfonics, The Manhattans, and Ray, Goodman and Brown) replaced Thompkins as lead singer. That same year, tenor singer Van Fields, who had previously sung with the A Cappella group "A Perfect Blend", joined, enabling The Stylistics to grow from a trio back to a quartet.
It was released in April 2014 on the Universal Music Group label - featuring the vocals of Harold "Eban" Brown and Billy Brown only. In 2014, Winfree was officially welcomed into the group as the replacement for Goodman, with Owens and Brown, bringing the group back to its regular trio status.

Airron Love and Herb Murrell recruited two new members, Harold 'Eban' Brown, as the new lead and the tenor, Van Fields. By 2004, Russell Thompkins, Jr. formed the New Stylistics, whose line up featured Raymond Johnson (for a second stint), James Ranton, and Jonathan Buckson.
In his stints with classic R&B groups The Manhattans, The Stylistics, The Delfonics, as well as others, Eban Brown ’s sparkling electric guitar work often took a backseat to his great vocal talent.
