To me, "Slow Disco" is a song about suicide. The speaker in the song, by slipping her hand from the other person's hand and leaving them dancing with a ghost, is talking about killing herself.

30 de sept. de 2018 · Originally produced by Lana Del Rey’s new go-to, Jack Antonoff, St. Vincent already gave the track (called simply “Slow Disco”) the unplugged treatment in acoustic form in late 2017 as the first reworked version to the album’s original.
Earlier this year St. Vincent, who’s real name is Annie Clark, released “Fast Slow Disco,” a more upbeat electronic dance pop inspired version of the track. Clark starred in the music video, as a protagonist in the middle of an eclectic dance party filled with leather-and-chain clothed men.
