Berzerker Legion se fundó en 2016 de la mano de los guitarristas Tomas Elofsson (Hypocrisy) y Alwin Zuur (Asphyx), con la visión de crear death metal beligerante, para lo que reclutaron a James Stewart (Vader) a la batería, Jonny Pettersson (Wombbath) a la voz y Fredrik Isaksson (Dark Funeral) al bajo para completar la Legión.
