John Lund was an American film, stage, and radio actor who starred in A Foreign Affair, To Each His Own, and The Hasty Heart. He also appeared in several westerns, musicals, and comedies, and was vice-president of the Screen Actors Guild.
John Lund. Actor: High Society. One of six children born to an immigrant Norwegian glassblower, John Lund had a rather unsettled childhood. He dropped out of school at the age of 14. For a while, he tried his hand at several part-time jobs but never stayed long.
John Lund was a handsome blond, blue-eyed actor who started out promisingly in engaging romantic leads in the late '40s, but settled quickly into playing stuffed shirts and the third wheel in love triangles. He retired from acting in 1963 and died in 1992.
