Agnes Booth (October 4, 1843 – January 2, 1910), born Marian Agnes Land Rookes, was an Australian-born American actress and in-law of Junius Brutus Booth, Edwin Booth, and – arguably the most notable – John Wilkes Booth, the assassin of Abraham Lincoln.

The Booth family was an English American theatrical family of the 19th century. Its most known members were brothers Edwin Booth, one of the leading actors of his day, and John Wilkes Booth, also a fellow actor most remembered for assassinating Abraham Lincoln.
Agnes Booth, then known as Marion Agnes Land Rookes, was born in Sydney, Australia, on October 4, 1843. She was a dancer as a young woman and came to the United States to dance in San Francisco. However, a heart condition required a change in Agnes's career path from dancing to acting.
Her dramatic tastes and talents were not inherited, for none of her family had ever been on the stage or shown any talents in the histrionic line. As a child she was fond of dancing, and she made her debut in 1857 in Sydney as a dancer, under the stage-name Marion Agnes, with her sister Belle.
