Nabiba Naftali Temu (20 April 1945 – 10 March 2003) was a Kenyan long-distance runner. He became Kenya's first gold medalist when he won the 10,000 metres race at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City .

10 de mar. de 2003 · Naftali Temu, who won Kenya's first ever gold medal in the 1968 Mexico City games, passed away in 2003 after a long illness. He led an African sweep in the men's 10,000m, defeating Ethiopia's Mamo Wolde in a close sprint finish.
