On 31 March 2006, Pittman married English athlete Chris Rawlinson at Morningstar Estate on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. Rawlinson, also a specialist 400 m hurdler, coached Jana from 2004 to 2009. On 14 December 2006 she gave birth to the couple's son, Cornelis.
Athletics. Australia. Jana Rawlinson won the 400 metres hurdles in the World Championships in Osaka in August, just eight months after giving birth to her first child. It was a joyous comeback for Rawlinson, who, as Jana Pittman, just before the Athens Olympics in 2004, tore the cartilage in her right knee.
