Carl Ludwig "Luz" Long (27 de abril de 1913, Leipzig - 13 de julio de 1943, San Pietro Clarenza) fue un atleta olímpico alemán, ganador de la medalla de plata en los Juegos de Berlín 1936. Sin embargo, es más recordado por haber aconsejado a su rival Jesse Owens , que acabaría logrando la medalla de oro gracias a la ayuda de Long.
Carl Ludwig "Luz" Long (27 April 1913 – 14 July 1943) was a German Olympic long jumper, notable for achieving the silver medal in the event at the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin and for his association with Jesse Owens, who went on to win the gold medal for the long jump.
