Reiko Tosa ran away from 2000 Olympic champion Naoko Takahashi just after 31Km to win the 2006 Tokyo Women’s Marathon, Tokyo, Japan, in 2:26:15 today. It was Tosa’s third marathon victory, having taken her debut win in Matsuyama and then a first place in the 2004 Nagoya Women’s marathon, which qualified her for the 2004 Olympic marathon team.
