Elias Victor Seixas Jr. (/ ˈ s eɪ ʃ ə s /; pronounced SAY-shus; born August 30, 1923) is an American former tennis player. Seixas was ranked in the top ten in the US on 13 occasions from 1942 to 1956.

Buoyed by his sensational 1953 season, Seixas was a quarterfinalist at the Australian, French, and Wimbledon in 1954, and then captured the U.S. National singles championship that summer. Seixas was the No. 3 seed and Hartwig the No. 8 seed, so a final between that pair seemed unlikely.
