Carlo played 59 games for Canada’s MNT, including three World Cup qualifying series and three Concacaf Gold Cups. He won gold medals with Canada in the 1989 Francophone Games and the 2000 Concacaf Gold Cup. Carlo himself describes the Gold Cup win as the best moment in his career – he scored four goals and won the “Golden Boot”.
