Now, the U.S. Senate has confirmed her as the newest member of the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. Senators voted 53-35 to confirm her nomination.

  4. Tamika Montgomery-Reeves was a judge of the Delaware Supreme Court. She assumed office on December 5, 2019, and retired from the court on February 7, 2023. Montgomery-Reeves was nominated by Gov. John Carney (D) on October 24, 2019, and unanimously confirmed by the Delaware State Senate on November 7, 2019.
