Hanoi Rocks fue un grupo de rock procedente de Finlandia, el cual alcanzó su máxima popularidad a comienzos de los años 1980. Musicalmente la banda está influenciada por grupos como New York Dolls, The Stooges y los Rolling Stones, fusionando elementos del blues, punk, heavy metal, garage rock y glam rock.
Hanoi Rocks were a Finnish rock band formed in 1979. They were the first Finnish band to chart in the UK and they were also popular in Japan. By 1984, the band was considered to be on the verge of an international breakthrough when they released their first major label album for CBS and headed for their first US tour.
Hanoi Rocks became internationally the most successful and influential Finnish band of the 1980s and they released five studio albums and two live albums before disbanding in June 1985.
