Lostprophets fue una banda de rock alternativo formada en 1997 en Gales. Su primer álbum, The Fake Sound Of Progress, fue originalmente grabado en Inglaterra por el sello independiente Visible Noise, y luego remasterizado por la gigante Columbia Records en Estados Unidos, aunque ellos continuaron con su primera casa discográfica.
Lostprophets (stylised as lostprophets or LOSTPROPHETS) were a Welsh rock band from Pontypridd, formed in 1997 by singer Ian Watkins and guitarist Lee Gaze. The group was founded after their former band Fleshbind broke up.

Lostprophets released five studio albums: The Fake Sound of Progress (2000), Start Something (2004), Liberation Transmission (2006), The Betrayed (2010), and Weapons (2012). They toured extensively in Europe and America, playing shows such as the Reading and Leeds Festivals in 2004, 2007, 2009, and 2010.
