The Verve (originalmente Verve), (Español: El Brío) fue una banda del Rock alternativo inglesa, formada en Wigan, Inglaterra, en 1989. Estuvo compuesta originalmente por el vocalista Richard Ashcroft , el guitarrista Nick McCabe , el bajista Simon Jones y el baterista Peter Salisbury .
