Donald Cumming (born 1981) is an American actor, musician, singer and songwriter. He is best known as the lead singer of the New York City band The Virgins. After two albums, the band announced their split in 2013. Cumming's first solo album Out Calls Only was released on June 16, 2015.

Emerging in the music world as founder and frontman of New York City post-punk revival band the Virgins in the late aughts, Donald Cumming is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and multifaceted performer. A true product of N.Y.C., Manhattan-born Cumming grew up in Tribeca.
In 2012, the band announced their return with an all new line-up backing leader Donald Cumming. The band also announced that it signed with the new record label Cult Records, founded by Julian Casablancas of The Strokes. In March 2013 The band released their new album "Strike Gently" worldwide.
Nearly ten years ago, Donald Cumming, the snarled-lip founder and front man of The Virgins, sang about stuck-up rich girls and other superficial fancies of youth and abandon. But that was a different time; downtown New York was grittier, cheaper, and less gentrified.
