Bootstrappers. J Mascis + The Fog. The Stooges. Website. mikewatt .com. Michael David Watt (born December 20, 1957) [1] is an American bassist, vocalist and songwriter. He co-founded and played bass guitar for the rock bands Minutemen (1980–1985), Dos (1985–present), and Firehose (1986–1994).
Es más conocido por ser el cofundador y bajista de las bandas de rock Minutemen, Dos, y Firehose. Es también el líder del supergroup Big Walnuts Yonder, miembro del grupo de art rock Banyan, y ha estado involucrado en otros múltiples proyectos musicales. Miembro fundador de bandas como Minutemen y fIREHOSE, Watt ha sido bajista de The Stooges durante más de una década. Ahora visita Barcelona con su nuevo proyecto, Il Sogno Del Marinaio. His first band, Minutemen, blended punk with jazz and funk, but ended with the death of its frontman D. Boon in a car accident in 1985.
