Simon Bowman (born 16 February 1961) is a British actor and singer, born in Cardiff and trained at Mountview Theatre School. He is best known for originating the role of Chris, opposite Lea Salonga's Kim, in the original production of Miss Saigon at Theatre Royal Drury Lane in the West End.
Simon Bowman won widespread acclaim when he created the role of Chris in the original production of MISS SAIGON. Besides this work, he has been in some of the most mythical West End musicals, as LES MISÉRABLES (in the role of Marius and, years later, playing the role of Jean Valejan) or THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA as Raoul and The Phantom.
