Ia adalah ayah dari Kristiani Herrawati, ibu negara Republik Indonesia, yang merupakan istri dari Presiden ke-6 Republik Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. Ia juga ayah dari mantan KSAD, Pramono Edhie Wibowo.
