    James Fitzjames (Devon o Londres; 27 de julio de 1813 - Isla del Rey Guillermo, c. 1848) fue un oficial británico de la Royal Navy. Estuvo al mando del HMS Erebus, uno de los dos buques junto al HMS Terror que formó parte de la expedición de John Franklin de 1845, que pretendía cartografiar el Ártico y cruzar el paso del Noroeste.
