Yhe Tsongkhapa, cuyo nombre de ordenación monástica era Losang Dragpa, fue un gran maestro budista que vivió en el Tíbet en el siglo XIV y difundió el budismo kadampa que Atisha había introducido tres siglos antes en ese país. El mismo Buda predijo la aparición de Yhe Tsongkhapa en el Tíbet.
