Robert Brout (Nueva York, 14 de junio de 1928 - Linkebeek, Bélgica, 3 de mayo de 2011) [1] fue un físico teórico belga quien hizo importantes contribuciones a la física de las partículas elementales.
Robert Brout ( / braʊt /; June 14, 1928 – May 3, 2011) was a Belgian-American theoretical physicist who made significant contributions in elementary particle physics. He was a professor of physics at Université Libre de Bruxelles where he had created, together with François Englert, the Service de Physique Théorique.
