Childs Frick was a naturalist, paleontologist, and conservationist who led a historic safari to Abyssinia and East Africa in 1911-12. He donated his specimens to the Carnegie Museum of Natural History and the American Museum of Natural History, and wrote about his adventures in the Abyssinian Expedition.
