Elena Lashmanova of Russia holds the Olympic record with a time of 1:25:02, set at the 2012 London Olympics. Jiayu Yang of China holds the world record with 1:23:49, set at the Chinese Race Walking Championships in Huangshan in March this year. The women’s 20km race walk final will be held on Friday, August 6.
