Ryuzaburo Umehara (梅原 龍三郎, Umehara Ryūzaburō, March 9, 1888 – January 16, 1986) was a Japanese painter who painted in the Yōga style. He attended the Kansai Academy of Art (also known as Kansai Art School) in Kyoto. One of the artists he admired was Pierre-Auguste Renoir.

UMEHARA Ryuzaburo 1888-1986. A Western-style painter in Japan. He was active in the Showa period, called ‘The Epoch of Yasui and Umehara’, with his rival, YASUI Sotaro. He made a decorative style of painting with gorgeous vivid colors and touches, called ‘The Umehara Style’.
