Email services. All fully-enrolled students are issued with an institutional email account, in the form username@student.bbk.ac.uk. This is a Microsoft Exchange Online account which enables you to use the full range of Microsoft apps within Microsoft 365, including Teams.

To access M365 go to the M365 logon page and enter your Birkbeck credentials in the form username@student.bbk.ac.uk (e.g. jblo001@student.bbk.ac.uk) and your Birkbeck password. You may also have to respond to a multi-factor authentication (MFA) challenge where you have to verify who you are.

Answer. You automatically get a Birkbeck student email address with your My Birkbeck profile. See the IT Services web page for more information. The format of your account will be [username]@student.bbk.ac.uk. It is a Microsoft email account, which you can access online at outlook.com/owa.
More information about Microsoft 365 for students and staff is now available on the Birkbeck website. To access the Microsoft apps, login to your Microsoft 365 account by going to 'My Software' in My Birkbeck for students.
