The Carnegie Mellon University College of Engineering (formerly known as the Carnegie Institute of Technology) is the academic unit that manages engineering research and education at Carnegie Mellon University. The College can trace its origins from Andrew Carnegie's founding of the Carnegie Technical Schools.
The college offers the degree of bachelor of science in chemical engineering, civil engineering, electrical and computer engineering, mechanical engineering, and materials science and engineering. All of these programs are accredited by ABET, www.abet.org .
La Escuela de Ingeniería (College of Engineering en idioma inglés) es una de las siete facultades y escuelas que forman la Universidad Carnegie Mellon. Hay aproximadamente 1650 alumnos a tiempo completo de pregrado, 620 alumnos de maestría y 680 estudiantes de doctorado matriculados en la escuela.
