Wildwood, a Campus of Innovation. Students who study at Wildwood can earn degrees in fine arts, general transfer studies, teaching, behavioral health support and business administration. In addition, students can also complete prerequisites for many career and technical degrees offered on other STLCC campuses.
History. The college opened in August 2007. The Wildwood campus was created because of the rapidly growing population of west St. Louis County [broken anchor] and to relieve some of the pressures from STLCC-Meramec's growing and overcapacity 12,000-13,000 student population.. Over the objections of the faculty and student body, in 1976 STLCC administration changed the names of the individual campuses to the format St. Louis Community College–Campus Name. In August 2007, STLCC opened a fourth campus, St. Louis Community College-Wildwood, in Wildwood.
