Paul Valdemar Horsdal, CM (born 1 September 1945), commonly known as Valdy, is a Canadian folk and country musician whose solo career began in the early 1970s. He is known for "Rock and Roll Song", his first mainstream single.
Valdy is a Canadian composer, songwriter, touring folksinger, music producer for film and television and CD, music publisher and recording artist currently with recordings distributed in Canada by Warner Music and Universal Music and Well Written Songs.

* Valdy has toured Canada for forty-six years, and plays regularly in New Zealand with Kiwi mate Graham Wardrop. He has also toured Austria, Denmark, Germany, Holland, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland, and is an oft-invited performer at dozens of music festivals, including the Kerrville Folk Festival in Texas.
