Santos Port is home to 32 terminals and 65 berths. They process all range of cargo, such as dry bulk, liquid bulk, break bulk, roll-on roll off, general cargo, containers, special cargo and project solutions. The port connects Santos with over 600 other ports globally in 125 countries.
As of 2006, it is the busiest container port in Latin America. [2] In 2016, it was considered the 39th largest port in the world for container handling, and the 35th per ton, according to the AAPA - American Association of Port Authorities ranking, being the busiest in Latin America. [3] [4] [5]
The port of Santos hosts a visits program, receiving business and academic groups.
