It’s nice to spend some time in Jordan. It serves as a serene surrounding with plenty of beauty, but the story in this is very haphazard and hard to enjoy. Bill Pullman is interesting to watch, but there’s not enough depth in the relationships to really buy what this film is selling. It’s family melodrama with almost no viewer connectivity.
