Shattuck-St. Mary's School (SSM) is a co-educational college preparatory boarding and day school for students in grades 6 through 12 and post-graduate students. Founded in 1858, SSM is one of the oldest college preparatory schools in the Midwest.SSM is located in Faribault, Minnesota 45 minutes south of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul and the MSP International Airport.
The Shattuck-St. Mary’s Girls Prep hockey team plays a rigorous seven-month schedule, averaging 55-60 games a season, with tournament play throughout the United States and Canada. The program has captured nine USA Hockey Tier I National Championships. Student-athletes are on the ice five to seven days per week and each participates in a year-round strength and conditioning program.
