John Virgo (Salford, 4 maart 1946) is een Engels voormalig professioneel snookerspeler. Hij won in 1979 het UK Championship en kwam dat jaar tot de halve finale van het World Snooker Championship. John Virgo (born 3 March 1946 in Salford, Lancashire) is an English former professional snooker player and more recently a snooker commentator and TV personality. Early professional career (1976–1978) Virgo turned professional in 1976, at a time when players such as Ray Reardon, John Spencer and Eddie Charlton were at the forefront of the sport.
