No Tears for the Dead (Korean: 우는 남자; RR: Uneun Namja; literally Crying Man) is a 2014 South Korean action film written and directed by Lee Jeong-beom.The film revolves around a professional hitman (Jang Dong-gun) who is conflicted about killing his last target (Kim Min-hee).
No Tears for the Dead is the new feature film from director Lee Jeong-beom of The Man from Nowhere fame. Starring Jang Dong-gun and Minhee Kim it’s essentially Lee’s take on John Woo’s The Killer minus the copper. Jang Dong-gun plays the killer, Gon, who was abandoned by his mother at a young age and raised by the mafia.
