Rolf Magnus Joakim Larsson, known professionally as Joey Tempest, is a Swedish singer based in the UK. He is best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band Europe. He has written most of the band's biggest hit songs, including "The Final Countdown", "Rock the Night", "Cherokee" and "Carrie".
En 1979, Rolf choisi Joey Tempest comme nom de scène. Ce nom est inspiré par la tragicomédie de William Shakespeare The Tempest. Il forme le groupe Force avec le guitariste John Norum, le bassiste Peter Olsson et le batteur Tony Reno.
