Deputy Frank Hawkins (born 1955) is the one of deuteragonists (alongside Allyson Nelson) in Halloween (2018) he is a police officer for the Haddonfield Sheriff's Department and a close friend of Laurie Strode. He was one of the main officers responsible for Michael Myers ' capture in 1978 after his initial massacre.
Tommy Doyle in Halloween Kills. Probably an unpopular opinion, but I actually liked how Anthony Michael Hall portrayed him. It's actually pretty realistic that he turned into such a hothead after what happened to him as a kid. He doesn't want to feel that fear again. So he pushed it to the side and became a bit of a brute to compensate.

Shortly after Steven's birth, Jamie was killed and the defenseless Steven was protected from his great-uncle by his adoptive parents, Tommy Doyle and Kara Strode. He would eventually be given up a few weeks later.
Tommy Doyle too, although he is a fictional character, so his life experience is limited to whatever the writer decides it is. He is a thin character in both Halloween and Halloween Kills (H6 is not really germane to any of this), so it's not like there was a lot to get right or wrong based on his maybe 10 minutes of screen time in the first movie.
