Hatton is a 6-foot-10 center who averaged 10.5 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game in 31 games this past season. He shot 33.3 percent from three (15-of-45) last year. In his career, he’s 18-of-55 on 3s.

He averaged 10.5 points and 7.1 rebounds in 27.8 minutes per contest. From Georgetown, Ind., Hatton shot 48 percent from the field, including 33.3 percent (15-of-45) from three.

Cignetti is entering his first season at Indiana after compiling a 119-35 record as a college football head coach. In fact, Indiana has more than 2,200 teacher job openings right now. Okay, it isn’t the Rose Bowl game, but as you’ve known for a while, the Hoosiers are going to play in the Rose Bowl Stadium against UCLA this fall. It will be Indiana’s first game at the famous venue since their last appearance in the Rose Bowl game on January 1, 1968 vs. USC.
