The Dandy Warhols is an American alternative rock band that was founded in 1994 in Portland, Oregon, by guitarist Peter Holmström and singer-guitarist Courtney Taylor-Taylor. Later, drummer Eric Hedford and keyboardist Zia McCabe joined them. In 1998, Hedford resigned, and Taylor-cousin Taylor’s Brent DeBoer took his position.
