The Alun school is a mixed English-medium comprehensive school in Mold, Flintshire. Currently there are 1,682 pupils on roll, including 483 in the sixth form, compared with 1,762 and 556 respectively when the school was last inspected in 2010. Around 10% of pupils are eligible for free school meals compared with the national average of 17.4%.
