15 de jul. de 2019 · Pernell “Sweet Pea” Whitaker, considered one of the greatest lightweight boxers of all time, died Sunday after he was hit by a vehicle in Virginia, police said. He was 55 years old.
Death. Whitaker died on July 14, 2019 after being stuck by a vehicle in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The accident occurred at approximately 10 p.m. at the intersection of Northampton Boulevard and Baker Road. Emergency personnel attempted to resuscitate Whitaker by performing CPR, but were unsuccessful.
